Everyone Deserves a Little Kindness

I have always felt that kindness is the cornerstone of a person's integrity. Today so many hide behind anonymity on the internet to be their lowest and nastiest selves, hurt others, troll or harass people, say the most horrible things you can imagine under the guise that they have a right to free speech and they can do it anonymously.

This is where integrity matters the most, because if you can't proudly sign your name to it and own it; then you know full well you shouldn't be doing it. Be good because it is right, not because of punishment or gain. It is when it's hard to be good that you must be good, not when it's easy; otherwise everyone would do it. There are so many things I can quote you and they would all be golden rules but also sound cliche, despite being true; people have lost the sense of shame.

Do something nice for someone without expectation; and the universe will reward your good deeds with contentment. Kindness will always cost you less and be the most fulfilling thing you do; so if you do it - KEEP IT UP - and if you don't or haven't in a while, give it a shot - it's like riding a bike. and for those who never learned to ride, as good a time as any to learn it - always better late than never.
